Section 8 Subsidized Senior Housing

We proudly offer affordable independent living for seniors through the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program. This program, funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), helps qualifying residents pay a reduced monthly rent based on their income.

At our community, seniors aged 62 and older enjoy a safe, comfortable, and maintenance-free living environment. We work closely with local housing authorities to ensure that rent remains affordable, and we guide new residents through the application and eligibility process with care and respect.

At Taylor Towers, independence means more than just affordable rent—it means having everything you need, right where you live. All utilities are included, helping residents save where it counts. The SMART bus stops daily for easy access to local shopping. On-site conveniences include a hair salon (cuts only), vending machines, a mail room, billiards, and monthly karaoke in the Harrington Room.

Residents enjoy secure remote entry for guests, seasonal access to a nearby farmers market, and emergency pull cords for peace of mind. Whether it’s getting around, staying entertained, or taking care of everyday needs, our community is designed to keep seniors independent, active, and connected.

Guidance Without the Guesswork

Our dedicated service coordinators are here to help residents connect with the support they need to continue living independently. While we don’t provide or pay for outside services, we’re here to guide residents through the sometimes confusing process of finding in-home care, transportation options, meal programs, and more.

For seniors who aren’t ready—or don’t want—to move into assisted living, our coordinators offer compassionate, knowledgeable support to help them age in place with dignity, safety, and peace of mind.
